A Site to Call 'Home' ... by Scotty T. A couple of months ago, I stumbled across a site called WiseWagering.com; hmmmmm I thought, another sports handicapping site. As it turns out it is anything but just another sports handicapping site, this place has become my Internet home. A place I am allowed to make my so called "sports picks" and post them for my fellow 'cappers. A place where I can read articles dealing with almost anything from current events to blonde jokes. A place where I feel comfortable to talk speak my mind on just about everything. I want to take this next paragraph to talk about the owner of this particular site, John "Wise." The reason I will do it, is because I know John will never blow his own horn. John has put countless hours into making this site as helpful for all involved as possible. Many of these sites you see more egos and back biting than handicapping, not here, John has created an environment where more is accomplished by helping instead of hindering. He has generously funded an NFL contest for all of us to participate in, free of charge, at his own expense. He has provided sports books for us to use that give us tons of options and are most importantly reputable. He has even refused money from a sponsor because of the reputation. Finally, I want to devote a message to all those who enjoy just reading the posts. Please, sign up as a member and enjoy the fun and excitement of posting!!! First off it is free, but that is really a small part of the equation. There is nothing better than sharing information and picks with your fellow handicappers, not just in football, but in any area of expertise you can offer. I personally, want to see this site grow in all different areas of information and strength. This can only happen by more and more individuals joining in and posting. I hope this article didn't come across as sounding like a mushy infomercial. It ain't intended to be that way, far from it. What it is intended to be is a thank you to John for a fantastic site and all his work.
